Formula for calculating proportionate bonus =(6774÷12) × number of months
The bonus amount will be calculated as per the proportionate months as follows.
Bonus will not be payable if service period is less than 6 months.
6 months amount 3387
7 month amount 3952
8 month amount 4516
9 month amount 5081
10 month amount 5645
11 month amount 6210
12 month amount 6774

Note –
(1) According to Finance Department’s order 13/10/24, 75% of the bonus amount will be given in cash and 25% will be deposited in GPF/GPF 2004.
(2) To make proportionate bonus on IFMS, first process the bonus bill and then edit the bonus amount according to the proportionate amount from the Update Bonus tab.
(3) Service period is rounded off. Periods of 15 or more than 15 days are rounded off to the next month and periods of less than 15 days are discarded.
(4) Rounding off is not done for the period of 6 months.
