Government Senior Secondary School Komta (GSSS KOMTA) was established in 1954 and is managed by the Education Department of Government of Rajasthan. It is located in rural area. It is situated in Sayla Block of Jalore District, Rajasthan.
The school has classes from 1st to 12th. The school is co-educational and has no pre-primary section. The school is non-residential type. The nature of the school is single shift school. The medium of instruction is Hindi. The school is easily accessible in all weather conditions. The academic session in this school starts from 1st May.

The birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri was celebrated in the school on 2nd October. In which Nipun fair was also organized. On this occasion, about 15 types of competitions like Jalebi race, obstacle race, poster, speech etc. were organized.
