SC Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Classes 6 to 8:
Whenever the state government implements a scheme, it also adds some conditions for it. These conditions are called the terms or conditions of eligibility. Therefore, along with the plan, its conditions are also important. Because you are deprived of the scheme due to lack of eligibility conditions or rules. First of all let us know the eligibility conditions related to the scheme.
Eligibility :-
- The student / student should be / should belong to Scheduled Caste.
- Students who are studying regularly from class 6 to 8 in schools run by the Central Government, State Government, Panchayat Samitis, Municipalities or in schools recognized by the Education Department.
- The student is not getting any kind of scholarship for studies from any central, state, public, religious source.
- Student who is not residing in the hostel run by the department or aided by the department.
- Student / student who has passed in the previous examination.
- Students whose parents are alive, or in the absence of their guardian, do not pay income tax.

SC Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Classes 9 to 10:
The state government also provides scholarship from class 9 to 10. But the eligibility conditions change a bit. With this, the amount of scholarship also increases. So now let’s see your eligibility conditions.
Rules for eligibility:
- The student should be of Scheduled Caste.
- Students who are studying regularly in class 9 and 10 in schools run by the Central Government, State Government, Panchayat Samitis, Municipalities or in schools recognized by the Education Department.
- Should not be receiving scholarship from any other centrally sponsored scheme.
- Did not fail last year. Failure to do so will not be eligible for this scholarship.
- Student whose parents are alive, or in their absence, the guardian’s income does not exceed 2.50 lakhs.
